【Aluminum prices fluctuated rangebound, secondary aluminum market remained stable】Today, prices maintained rangebound adjustments. SMM A00 aluminum prices rose by 10 yuan/mt to 20,670 yuan/mt compared to the previous trading day, while secondary aluminum prices remained stable. Domestic SMM ADC12 prices were flat in the range of 21,000-21,200 yuan/mt. In the import market, overseas ADC12 quotations continued to stay above $2,500/mt, while domestic prices faced downward pressure recently, coupled with the continuous depreciation of the yuan, resulting in the real-time loss of imported ADC12 expanding to over 500 yuan/mt. Today, aluminum prices showed relatively small overall fluctuations, and the sentiment for price adjustments in the secondary aluminum market was low. Insufficient demand combined with weakening costs has led to a short-term trend where secondary aluminum alloy prices are more likely to fall than rise.

Fed to Keep Large Banks' Capital Levels Unchanged, Postpones Stress Test Reforms Until 2027
The US Fed has announced that it will maintain the capital levels of large banks unchanged during the upcoming stress test cycle (corresponding to the 2026 cycle). At the same time, the US Fed is planning multidimensional reforms to this annual test, aiming to enhance its transparency. The US Fed's Vice Chair for Supervision, Bowman, revealed that adjustments to the stress capital buffer requirements for large banks will be postponed until 2027. This move is intended to provide the US Fed with sufficient time to evaluate potential flaws that may be exposed in its testing models when assessing banks' financial conditions under simulated economic downturn scenarios.
